Nominalizările la cea de-a 94-a ediție a Premiilor Oscar au fost anunțate astăzi. Filmul „The Power of the Dog” a acumulat cele mai multe nominalizări, un total de 12, printre care și în cea mai importantă categorie, „Cel mai bun film”. Prezent, de asemenea, în cea mai importantă categorie, „Dune” are zece nominalizări.
Propunerea României, „Babardeală cu bucluc sau porno balamuc” de Radu Jude nu a fost nominalizat în categoria „Cel mai bun film internațional”.
Ediția din acest an a avut cea mai mare rată de participare la vot din cei 94 de ani de istorie – aproximativ 10.000 de membri ai juriului au votat. De asemenea, în acest an, sunt din nou zece filme nominalizate la categoria „Cel mai bun film”, ca în 2009 și 2010.
